Phoenix Va Medical Center: "Phoenix VA home care never contacted us to provide instructions for wound care after discharge from hospital. They promised to send someone out next day to give instructions for this emergency surgery followup care but they never contacted us at all. We called several times and left messages but no response from them. We finally had to find an outside provider to come and help us. So instead of cleaning and caring for the surgical wound next day, it was 4 days later, by which time the gauze covering the wound was all stuck in the wound and it took a while to get it right." - John
