Yavapai Regional Medical Center: "I would rate the experience a 8/10

Hospital staff told me when I got in to ignore what the ER dept told me which was odd that nobody ever said that to me before and they were booked with no rooms and oxygen tanks and then proceeded to test me which i was given very little info and then said they were going to give me remdisivir for the pneumonia i had but gave me insulin which i wasnt told till later and said i went into diabetic shock which i never had issues with my vitals for years

The care was fine and was attended to a few times a day

They could organize a bit better and food was usually late

Afterwards I still have some stomach and breating issues

They gave me steroid and some vits

I did not auth anything to be admin except to test me "

Yavapai Regional Medical Center: "I went in the ER with severe pain to my side. It could have been two things, diverticulitis (which is very serious if left unattended) or kidney stone, both I have history with. They had me wait in the waiting room in intense pain, took everyone else (no one else showing any pain), and even took people who walked in after me. It was like a cruel joke. In quiet tears I would ask how much longer - "well there are others before you." It became clear to me in time it was a kidney stone, but they would not have known this because I was not checked. Almost 3-hours later, the stone moved along and the pain left. This was when they took me in to exam me. For a whole lot of nothing I was charged over $8,000. Then to make matters worse, when you want to pay monthly and not the amount they say, another words you pay what you know you can afford to keep a room over your head, they send you to collections. YRMC is the worse." - K
