Tampa General Hospital: "Medivac to Tampa general from Plant City. Told surgeons standing by to operate. Was told would die if not flown to Tampa General ASAP. It was a lie. Tampa General couldn't even start an IV. Severe bruising on both arms. Never did see a surgeon. Never again!!!!!" - Pamela

Tampa General Hospital: "ER is very dirty. Chairs and floors are visibly filthy with items and particles left without cleaning. We have been here since the early morning hours. Patients are brought into a small triage room and given IV fluid bag and then sent back out to waiting room to hook bag on the wall and sit for hours in front of everyone else. Never seen people treated this way at a hospital. There aren’t that many people here to be treated - only about 10-15. Don’t understand why this is being run this way. You’re told to sit out in the waiting room and then wait for someone to shout out your name and then you have to yell out for them to come to you. This repeats every 1-2 hours as a patient and they pull you in a room to do something else. They should have a small separate area for each patient to comfortably receive treatment. A deli line is better organized and more humane than this place." - A.

Tampa General Hospital: "Normally Tampa General ER is fast. But not today (Jul 14, 2022). I've been waiting 6.5 hours and still not seen by a nurse or doctor, sitting in the waiting room. No one is going around offering water, I'm in pain and hard to move around. I haven't eaten today and almost no water." - Alex

Tampa General Hospital: "Have had to go multiple times recently. Wait times in the waiting room no matter your triage level is 10 to 15 hours. Then they don't want to help. My primary states "It is obvious they don't want to help." COVID risk is high. Waiting room is packed with people down the hall. One Friday night ER supervisor stated he was afraid people were going to begin dying out here. " - Deborah
