Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center: "UPDATE:

So here we sit one week after I left this review. Despite my responding immediately to your request for my information so you could reach out to me, I still haven’t heard anything from you. On top of you losing his ring, you provided Davis Funeral Home the wrong Doctor’s information, which has resulted in a delay in having my husband’s death certificate to be signed off on. When I called and found this out, your staff had the audacity to ask ME to call the Funeral Home and provide them with the correct information. Your absolute lack of care, responsibility, compassion and urgency in this matter are completely unacceptable.

Very unprofessional staff. My husband was brought in with a medical emergency and passed away last Monday 11/14/22. It's now one week later and nobody in that hospital can tell me where his wedding ring is. (This is after a staff member told me last week that they had it, and would have a manager get in touch with me so it could be shipped back to me in Indiana.) Nobody is returning my phone calls. I have reached out to the ER department, Security, and Risk Management. Yesterday I spoke with someone in management, although they did not give me a name. The ring was on his finger when he left the hotel, and not on his finger when he was transported to the Funeral Home. We were from out of state, and this has been a total nightmare!!! A grieving widow should not have to go through this!!!"

Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center: "Doors were left open to patient rooms to be able to hear other patients problems.
Most nurses seemed busy and uncaring to patient's situations (including frequent fliers)
Provider did not ask pertinent questions surrounding my care. I ended up seeing my own provider at home.
Very long wait time.
Patient registration was not willing to take the MVA insurance information without a lot of prompting.
I did not feel valued as a patient, most of the staff seemed irritated that I was in the hospital."

Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center: "I walked from work, due to equilibrium problems, while vommitting all the way. I'm an older woman, and was unfortunate enough to get a PA named, Mr. Rios. I was left vommitting for close to four hours. The X-ray tech, and registration worker had better bedside manners than the medical team I encountered. It's sad. I knew it would be a wait, but it took extra time because while I was vommitting the X-ray tech, was unable to find me. There were elderly people who I'm sure could have benefited by a PA providing nasauea medicine to me, instead of doing whatever it was that he did. The facility is clean, but it's not good when compassion comes from two clerks. I'm sorry Las Vegas has hospitals, such as this... " - R.
