Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center: "- IDK what on earth has came about starting within the past month or two, however it's gotten worse within the last two day's. Crime in the streets, from all these dang thugs and gangsters out here acting like heathens, have made it impossible for good law abiding citizens to go into Memorial Herman E.R. (being emergency or pcp/physician telling you to) and get any type of medical treatment in a timely manner
My husband had a fused ankle 3 years ago from a vehicle accident and they flew him to the medical district where he had bone graph, muscle graph, skin graph amongst other, so his entire ortho surgical staff is at this location. In the last 3 year's going into surgery at least 10 times never have we set in the waiting area for over 24 hours. We came in on Wednesday the 20th of July 2022 and here we are Thursday the 21st of July 2022 at 9:53pm and we're still in the er waiting area.
He can not walk, his screw has backed out of his ankle and the rod is pushing out the bottom of his heal.
This 4 hr wait time is non since, and for the birds."

Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center: "I must commend this place. Knowing it is one of the only two level one trauma centers in Houston makes a difference. If you are having a true emergency, they will get you back imminently. If you come in for toe pain with no other abnormalities or symptoms, you may wait a while. They just expanded to a new section of the ER, but are still busy most of the time. If you want a real comparison, look at the DFW area. They have four level one trauma centers covering around the same population. If it can be treated at a lower acuity hospital, go there or an urgent care. If you have major injuries or serious conditions, they’ll get you seen. They get the worst of the worst here. Would highly recommend for trauma though." - James

Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center: "Wait time outrageous. It is now 6:00 pm and we have been here since 10:00 am. We have not been seen by medical staff. If you have an emergency, I suggest going to a facility that is really concerned about your urgent needs. " - Phae
