Marion General Hospital: "On Friday my brother a heart patient is in er for chest pain. We are told it's not his heart he has fluid build up. He is admitted for observation. Next morning we are told looking at his blood that he did have a heart attack. Monday he goes in for a cath to look for blockage. He's in trouble during the procedure but they quickly insert a temporary pacemaker and save him. Tuesday morning the pacer is removed and later in the day he's moved out of icu. Doctor says he can go home Wednesday. He's talking and joking with the family. I leave the hospital at 7:30 after making plans to see him the next morning. At 9 I get a call he's fallen and in trouble. I rush to the hospital to see my brother. They get a pulse for a short time and then he is gone forever! He was on blood thinners. Why was he not watched to make sure he didn't fall? So many questions that will never be answered" - Debbie

Marion General Hospital: "My husband was put in the hospital on Monday 2/15/16 he was dehydrated due to cdiff. He was there 3 days and no meds or tests for cdiff was done. Brought him home on Wenesday and they said he was fine.NOT. Took him to Hardin Memorial today 2/20/16 was admitted to ICU and is being treated for the cdiff, dehydration, and low BP. Thank You Marion General for nothing. He very well could have died. Try helping your patients a little more instead of getting them in and out in a hurry.
