Lac+usc Medical Center: "It is remarkable how it can take up to 6 hours + to see a doctor. Obviously depending the level of injury. There are several factors that contribute to how long you will wait to be seen by a doctor at an ER.
Yes, within that time you wait, the wonderful staff does take your vitals at triage. Your visit to triage includes, nurse 1 on 1 and any pain medication needed based on a pain level of 1-10 (10 being lots of pain).
Well I most definitely can say I’ve experienced the waiting of ….. I’ve been at the ER since last nicht around 8:30 PM definitely can say that I have waited approximately 8 hours. Wit one the Of course with in those hours that I beauty sleep I had blood work and X-rays taken.
