Hca Florida Northwest Hospital Stories

Northwest Medical Center: "This is the worst hospital we have experience in our life.On Thursday December 15th 2022 around 4 pm .My wife and I arrived in the ER because my wife had a very high blood pressure and was feeling weak and dizzy. She was seen by Triage nurse almost 2 hours later sitting in the waiting room. Her blood pressure was 198 /135 which was very high .The ER doctor Adam Gittleman said after running some test he will start treatment. The staff did CT scan -chest xray and blood work and took them 5 hours to do these test while my wife was feeling very sick sitting in the waiting room .Every time we ask for any information they say have a seat and they will get back toyou..Now It has been 8 hours sitting in the waiting room without any help from the staff. We were so angry with the nurses at the front desk and told them that my wife can have a stroke with stage 3 blood pressure and wants to see the doctor right away. The front desk Nurses were so rude and shows no sympathy. It seems like they are were there just to collect a paycheck .Finally at around 1:30 AM they took her inside the bed area and began treatment .We left the ER on Friday 4am .We were there for 12 hours for high blood pressure .Really bad experience with this hospital. Please avoid this Hospital at any cost. Not worth risking your life there." - Mahmood
